3 Great Interactive Viral Flash Widgets

Feeling like you’ve got what it takes to be a presidential candidate, a super hero, or even just a parent? These three sites will satisfy your ego’s craving for fleeting, virtual fame.

1. Babymaker 3000. This little app was created by [Crispin Porter for] Volkswagen for the upcoming launch of their new minivan, the Routan.  You get to upload photos of your prospective baby’s mommy and daddy (or do a quick image search for “Eva Mendes”), and within minutes you’ve got yourself a baby! Sure, it’s missing the “fun” part of babymaking, but there’s none of the responsibility either.

2. Make Me Super. Kodak, a brand on a notoriously tough quest to completely redefine themselves (when’s the last time you saw someone using a film camera), proves they’ve figured out the recipe for cutting edge interactive Flash.  Engaging and entertaining (if not downright silly), Make Me Super scores big.

3. 2008 Election Coverage. This one’s completely out of left field — I know nothing about the creators or even the purpose (if any), but it’s pretty amazing. The last 20 seconds really take the entire experience to another level — especially for those of us (hopefully, all of us) who’ve never before seen our own name as a tramp stamp on a 70-year old lady.

Did I miss your favorite recent interactive/mashup widget? Let me know, and I’ll add it to the list.
